Every theme ice tried so far has the same problem. The icon for my gmail box won't update. I have a hotmail address too and that one updates. If I do a battery pull then change to the new theme it will change my email icon. But the first time I get a message it will go back to the default. Its not game breaking for me but its very annoying.
This is happening with plazmic themes and the new 5.0 ones both.

Unfortunately this is an issue with .320, and not something the theme developers can fix; it needs a fix from RIM. Not only will your Gmail icon not update on the home screen, but any app that updates (weather apps, meterberry, etc) won't update either.
