Zack! I lost my messenger contacts after upgrading my firmware. Tried to get the e-mail backup I did and it keeps telling me that I am being registered and it may take a few minutes. This was about 18 or so hours ago. So, if you see this, hit me up! I need my support buddy!!!!!

Did you do a backup of your phone through DM before the update?

This is the type issue we should probably have used PM for. ANYWAYS did you have BBM 5.0 installed before you upgraded? If so it keeps it's own backup of your contacts. For some inexplicable reason the 5.0 OS upgrade came with BBM 4.7, and that does not update your contact list nearly as well. Go in to Options, Application, change the selector button from 3rd Party Apps, to Add Ons, then delete BBM 4.7. Then from your BB browser go to http://www.blackberry.com/messenger

Thanks PH. Trying that now. I couldn't PM him since, for the life of me, I can't remember his CB name. I know it has "Wizard" in it, but there are users upon users when I did a name search.
