This morning the rep was supposed to sign me up for the $29.99 Email and Web plan but instead signed me up for the $44.95 plan. I caught this looking at My Plan under my account details on the Verizon site.

Just thought I'd pass it on.

Yea, Something smiler happened to me, The rep change my minutes from 1400 to 2100. I just called Cust. Service, they said to call back and they will correct it when I get the phone.

Great post, I watched in horror this morning as some of the reps were setting people up on BES accounts and tethering accounts, there is gonna be a billing Storm coming when all of these new BB users get their first $60 add on bill, when it should've only been half of that....

I was told by the CSR that we get 30 days free tethering.. I hope payments don't kick in automatically after 30!!

I imagine that if you dont call and cancel they will start charging after trial period, they do the same with vz-nav and V-cast.

EXACTLY. It is up to YOU, the consumer, to cancel it. Best thing to do is when Dec. 19 comes (cycle ends on this date), set a reminder in your phone to call verizon and cancel it..this is what I did.

Yep... I saw the post about the guy that dropped his Storm down a flight a stairs and thought he didn't have insurance... that scared me in to checking my account to make sure my insurance was still on there... then noticed the VZNav thing... definitely ticked me off... tried it out though... seems pretty cool... don't think its worth $10/month though

same to me. i called and they politely switched me to the 30 dollar plan. and i made sure vznav was not active

Mine is really messed up.

44.99 plan which I didnt ask for.

Wrong text messaging plan, 250 instead of the 500.

Ringback tones which was not asked for.

Wrong insurance (asked for $5.99 which includes extended warranty, got $4.99)

Roadside assistance for $3.00 which I didnt ask for.
