You ever Ping your old PIN?

I just exchanged my first Storm for a new one, cuz it had dust and clicking issues and it got me to wondering... Will that same phone with the same PIN be put back into service? If so, I'd be interested to message the person with that phone and see if they have the same issues that I did.

So, will that PIN be taken out of service when I return it?

This is a pretty darn good question, I'd be interested to see if anyone has a (correct) answer.
