Sure enough, Set the phone down on my desk anything less than gentle and bam! the thing does a full reboot. Anyone have any home remedies for this? I just got the stinking thing set up the way I like it. I don't want to have to reset all of my messenger contacts and all... ugh!!

Not sure this would be an OS issue seeing as it is a physical "force" that causes the reboot. Unless it has something to do with the accelerometers.

Where was it made and does it have tab above memory card to hold battery in? Search "anyone notice these differences" or threads started by me if you don't know what I'm talking about I have pica posted in those threads.

Return it and fully inspect the replacement for any of the dozen other defects the Storm 2's are known for.

The same thing happened to me. I called customer service and they sent me a new one. My new one (that I got yesterday) is working fine - no reboots.
