    I'm getting the same thing. Something did download this AM when I connected my storm, however, it's not .148. ???

    You have to go to Blackberry.com and download the OS then install it on your computer. then once you have completed installing it when you connect your phone to the PC and open Desktop Manager it will prompt you to upgrade the OS.

    Hey! Got it! 148 is wonderful. the menus run faster and even though it might be the mist in my eyes, the screen looks better also!

    BlackBerry - Update your Device Software

    Click on the button, plug in your phone via USB and let it go!

    Seems like step 10 of 11 where the system restarts takes me at least 6 minutes, plus the time to do the install, so more like 12 minutes for me.
