I think that's one sorry excuse for the fact that it was just greed and not wanting to take their time and release a more stable device.i don't believe that single digit returns either, instead being honest with your loyal consumers, you rather insult our intelligence with your excuses,I'm not going to stand for it im dumping this storm and going with the 8900,it may not be 3g,but at least it has wifi and a more stable OS,this device now has a stigma that won't easily wear, for my fellow storm users, good luck,I'm jumping ship;I really wanted to love this BB,oh well.

i havent had any issues
i must be super lucky
I'm happy with the choice that I made. I like my Storm with its occasional imperfections and I expect it will improve with upgrades to the firmware.
As a test, I went into a local Radio Shack and showed it to the iPhone nerds who work in sales there. Those guys were drooling. And they said the Storm's 3G was faster than the iPhone's wifi. I could visit those guys again to confirm their view if anyone doubts the claim.
It seems to me that people who aren't psychologically 'invested'' (that is sad language) in the iPhone readily recognize the compelling merits of the Storm. Clickable touchscreen with SureType is amazingly cool! I'm happy to type everything I write in that format. The coverage misses the 'on balance' value of the Storm. It's simply great.
As for defects in the current firmware, tech products are like that: Worse at first; better after a while; never perfect. My friends are all bringing their iPhones in for repair from time to time. At least there's Verizon stores all over the place.
I honestly think there are a lot of biased people on this forum. People that work for Verizon, RIM and general blackberry fanboys.
it is a blackberry forum
Not a surprise....

The funny this is you dont think there are going to be bugs in the new curve... your CRAZY. please find me a phone that comes from the box no bugs thats a smartphone ... lol.... seriously... not going to happen.
and again... WOW your on crackberry...................................... enuff said.
My impressions on the article were pretty much..."meh". I mean we already had an idea of everything that was mentioned in the article. If you have a Storm, just give it time. There's a reason you bought it. I'm sure that everything will be up and running at an optimum performance around the time Jesus comes back (j/k)! :D
I believe we are having growing pains here. I'm willing to bet the large majority of Storm owners are first time smart phone/bb users. There is just a large learning curve. People are getting in over their heads with constant beta OS updates and learning a new phone system.
Just look at this forum. The Storm section is chaos with users who have no bb background or even forum experience.
Makes for good reading though....
OMG where is my browser! (panic)
Well, give some of us a little credit. I'm a 1st time smartphone/BB user and have been thoroughly enjoying my hitch-free Storm. :p
I look forward to the day when the Storm finally takes it's place as one of the great smartphone of the day. We are so close. Once Rim/Vzw gets the Os in line with the great Hardware, we are on our way. I just hope all the reviewers that said nothing but bad things about the Storm, will at least re-review the phone. Hold on people. Our Day to shine will come after the "Storm"!
