I love Wolfram's products. I've used the mathematica application since it was first released almost 21 years ago. I've had the alpha engine in my vista gadget bar since it went live on friday. The difference between Wolfram|Alpha and a search engine is that all of the information that alpha retrieves is from its own internal knowledge database instead of the web. This helps eliminate the risk of getting an unnecessary result.

from the faqs page of wolfram

"Can I use Wolfram|Alpha on an iPhone?

Yes, and it has a specially optimized appearance. You can also keep a Wolfram|Alpha icon on your home screen for quick access."

Yeah... these are pretty cool. Mashable posted two blogs so far about the Wolfram "Easter Eggs". Pretty funny stuff.
