    Hi all,

I searched for a while for this topic, but couldn't find what I was looking for, so if anyone is patient enough to help me out, please do so.

I installed the .83 update and I am noticing some bugs that really outweigh the improvements.

Before I installed the new OS i made a backup file of my phone.

Would it be correct to assume that I should:
    Wipe the phone
    Reinstall .75 from verizon's website
    then install the backup file?

Or can I just reinstall the backup file?

    Many thanks in advance friends.

Just connect to DM, and select software update. Once it runs, it should show you the OSes availble to you. Just select .75, and run the update.

Spot is correct. The backup file only restores your personal information, such as contacts, emails present at the time of the backup, BBM contacts, etc.

But I should indeed do a wipe first, right?

No. Wiping is mostly about preference. You definitely do not "have" to. Technically the DM does the same thing, but just doesn't always do it as well as JL_Cmder. If you aren't very experienced with your device, hold off on the wiping, and just upgrade.
