I will be checking this phone out.. Have a DARE that I have been testing and although the touchscreen is nice I was missing the bb Os and keyboard.. if the thunder's onscreen keyboard works well then great!

Hi, everyone. If it works well, I'll be getting one. Got to use my friend's IPhone. Love the interface and that big sharp screen, but there's spotty ATT voice and Edge where I live. Fingers crossed.

I will be checking it out but not too sure if i will get it. I love the big touch screen for internet brousing which I do a lot of but I do not know how the virtual keyboard will be for me. I do a lot of texting and email on my phone.

it's exclusive to verizon. and if i remember correctly that's a lifetime exclusive as long as verizon meets a sales quota.

Yes, I hope the Thunder does quite well (and I'm sure it will). I'd be shocked if no other US carriers will sell it, though.

Ok, for the zillionth time, you can't use it the United States unless you have Verizon. Its not coming out for any other carrier. RIM and Verizon signed an agreement that this is an exclusive to Verizon in the United States for LIFE, yes for LIFE. Eventhough its CDMA and GSM, it doesn't have the U.S. GSM frequencies, only the European GSM bands for use with Vodaphone.

Well that just crushed any hope I had of getting as soon as it came out. I am very content with T-Mobile and will not be going to Verizon anytime soon.

Sorry to say this all, but desperate times call for deperate measures.
I hope the Thunder tanks in sales. I hope they only sale 1/4 of their projected sales. That way RIM cancels their contract with Verizon and expands to other networks, like tmobile.
