My store sold all 50 they got with $50 instant rebates. Not a single person had to do a MIR. I was very surprised they were doing it that way, no complaints here though!
I got a VIP discount of $50 to make the phone $199.99. I am sending in my rebate tomorrow for $50 to make it $149.99. The Blackberry Trade Up is offering me $130 for my Dare +the bonus $50 to make it $180 I'm getting from them.
So in actuality, I'm being paid $30 to get my Storm in the long run.
I was able to get the instant rebate. She said it was tied into my corporate discount program or something like that. Brought the price down to $199 out the door.
199 instantly from bestbuy. also waived activation, credit for free data. Basically i ordered the phone through my work but the order never went through. I had already reserved one at bestbuy. So verizon took care of it due to their mistake.
Overall vey happy with their response to their mistake. Would have been better if they had their act together in the first place.
