Yeah but that seems to be a hotfix to resolve some issues with the OS they dropped a few weeks back. Also the tour OS seems just to be std VZW procedure of releasing an update to the older device at 3-4 weeks before the new one drops.
It could just be that S1 is low on their list, and the focus was on Tour, S2 and new Bold 9650. Maybe when the deck clears we'll get a reach around.

I miss the days when leaks were like every other week for the 9530..... I am still rockin .419! Unless a carrier is testing new OS's for the S1, I doubt we will see any leaks anytime soon, (we all know how often a RIM internal build gets leaked....) Im thinking of putting a hybrid on my phone just to have that excitement again.
Figures it would come three weeks after I give it to my wife (9530) and get an S2..... I am very excited for all the 9530 peeps out there if this is true!!!!!

i really hope this drops today. I am getting pretty anxious to jump on the Droid Incredible bandwagon; that hits stores in 3 days........maybe some leak love will keep me from making an Incredible purchase.
BTW.....I just read on engagdet that OS6 is supposed tobe coming in Q3 this year and RIM is going to "try" to make it work for all their recent phones. I wonder if the memory limited S1 will get the OS6... ?????
I've been doing all my official leaks since day one. Some of the earlier comments said it best. " Dead Duck" "VZW droped the storm" I also read somewhere that the ceo of rim thinks that touch technoligy is not that importent to the future of research in motion. Go figure. Having said that, my phone has always worked fine for me. Long live the storm!!
the new leaked .592 seems to be a lil' better than the hybrid I was running. Time will tell how much better it will be though. I was really hoping for some visual changes, cooler transitions, etc......NOPE!! just saw the video on OS 6.0. It looks like a nice step forward, but it still looks to be a couple years behind Android and Apple when it comes to visual impact.
Meterberry besets fine for me. It asks now if you want to reboot, so there is an issue if you want to do daily scheduled resets. But those should not be needed anymore anyway.
So far ..591 is much better than ..419.
