Ok, I just found out how to upgrade the OS...now i just need to locate 7.83....Anyone? :D
Storm OS/OS Beta Discussion at the top of the Storm forums...Several threads down.
I downloaded the latest DM from VZW and after installation, it automatically prompted me to update some of the apps on my storm. I selected ok and once it was done updating, I was at .83 so I didn't even need to use the leaked version! the icons are bigger, it's running faster and it's more responsive!
It's been about 10 hours and I haven't had any problems yet. and oh, btw, I didn't loose a single thing. It backed up and restore everything (I guess except for the internet cach)
You didnt download 83 from anywhere?
I did, but I never did use it. The only thing I used was Desktop Manager from VZW. This is the link

You must have installed .83 without realizing it. It is not released yet and it is not available from VZW.

I would hold off on .83 if I were you.
