where does the desktop store the backup file that it creates during the os upgrade process? during the upgrade, it got interruppted when i received a call. it says to do a manual restore with XXX.ipd file, but i cant seem to find it except the one i made 2 weeks ago.

    Thanks!

It defaults to your Documents directory ... look for files with the .ipd extension.

You should back it up before you start the install...that is at least the best thing to do.

You could search your hard drive for the file name-----> Backup-(2009-01-26).ipd

changing the date in the file name for the date you backed it up
