That the storm was going to retail for $250 with a $70 refund? I've also heard that it would retail for as much as $500-600...anyone know which of these is more accurate?

I agree, but I do think they need to compete with the iphone pricewise so i'm hoping in the $200 range

Yeah, it would only make sense because that's their direct competitor for this device.

Wasn't the dream announced at 199? And whatever the android phone comes in at the storm Will have to compete there too.

What if your on a family plan and a line (not yours) is eligible for upgrade. I have done this before where I bought a new phone (non blackberry) using one line's eligibility and then used the phone on my line. Is this possible with blackberrys? I ask because I don't know if having to get the data plan messes things up.

    Thanks!

All you need to do if you upgrade one of the lines to a BB deivce is add the required data package which is either going to be $29.99 or $44.99.

BB have to have the data plan then you can do an ESN swap. I have an 8830 at work we have one line eligible for an upgarde and my wife has her own plan with a BB that I will add the storm to
