i have seperated SMS and email...
on my home screen i have two folders that the same emails go into...
one folder is the default messages folder with the envelope...
the other is an envelope with a pic of a globe with the email address below it...
that doesnt seem right...
way to fix it?
Yes. This is standard operating procedure. Your messages folder is a way for you to keep all of your messages in the same place and each separate email folder allows you to have separate boxes for each account you have set up. I personally like all of my emails in the same place, and my SMSs separate.
There is a way to "fix" it, though it really isn't a fix. Simply hide the main message folder as long as you have the sms/mms separated.
On my Bold I have the all message folder and then I have three seperate email folders. One personal; then two work related ones. The reason I still use the all message folder on my Today theme is it's a quick glance at all emails, but the other message folders are there so I can easily be certain where they are going and what hat I need to wear when I'm in reply mode.
Yup, just a normal thing... A catch all and the individuals...

seems like a waste of device memory...
so let me get this right...
for each email address by default there will be an additional folder on home screen (the one with the globe)...
BUT i could make a folder on home screen...
move each individual into that folder i made?
They're not necessarily on the home screen, but yes, you're getting it. I don't believe it really takes up much device memory since you're not getting two copies of the email. The same messages are just filed in two different places.

Yes, you could do that. I just hide my personal email folder and then access all messages in the normal message folder.
Its not actually storing the email twice and wasting device memory. Its in the database once and just giving you two ways of viewing the same information.
