When charging goes to screen with battery and wont turn on ...
Only two months old. Battery drained almost all the way down today but caught it before it powered off. Plugged in the wall charger and verified it was charging on the screen but later it somehow shutdown all the way on its own. Unplugged battery and tried charging again and it starts off with the red LED being lit for about 30 seconds, the LED goes out and after about another 30 seconds I usually get a solid white screen with the empty battery icon that has a lightning bolt in blue going accross it. What exactly is this screen supposed to indicate to me? Left it charging for 30 plus minutes and still get no response from any of the buttons on the phone nor will it power on with anything I try. If I unplug the charger get the red LED again, then a small timer icon spinning, then the Blackberry screen where it appears to be starting up but about 1/4 the way the phone shuts off. Sometimes instead of the white battery charging screen mentioned above I only get a small stripe of white background and the rest of the screen is black. I get essentially the same results using a car charger. Weird, confused, any ideas? Battery fried somehow?
