Like a lot of people, I used IS once and then gave BSE (best skins ever) a try. They are about the same and BSE is much cheaper. Both kinds are **** to put on, but if you do it right, it'll last 6-12 months.
I don't care how scratch "resistant" the storm screen is, mine will have a screen protector on it. Period.
a case is not included if it was it would be listed with things that come in the box, looks like they decided to give the 8 gb card over the case which is fine by me
Considering that the holster-detect behavior is an integral part of the Blackberry experience, I would be a bit surprised to find out that the Storm doesn't come with some sort of case (either belt-clip style or slip case). In fact, a Blackberry is the only phone I've ever bought that did come with a holster.
I hope it comes with one, but if it doesn't perhaps it'll fit into my 8830 case until I can get one for the Storm. Just have to wait and see.

PS: My 8830 box specifies that a holster is included. I'd have to go back and dig up the Verizon Storm box photos on this forum to see what it said. I'd say that whatever that box says is going to be the most accurate source. IIRC, the box listed the 8 GB microSD card way back when. Since then, there has been speculation as to whether or not we would actually get that, followed by (recent) confirmation that we would. Box = 1; Speculators = 0.
