I was fooling with my phone tonight, and in the applications folder I see an app called "Memory Cleaner". I swear it was never there before. Is this a forced download or did I do something to get it to pop up?

It's a new app that just showed up not too long ago.
I never dl'd it, so I'm assuming it's an automatic one? Either that, or it came with the Quick Pull app I dl'd but later deleted since it was verrrrrrrrry laggy.
memory cleaner is part of the os..
always has been.
When you go into the memory cleaning functions you can set what it cleans..
when you click it it does it all.
this is not new and has always been in there you may have had the icon hidden.
EDIT: my phone is rebooting installing something. After it boots I will post where the options are.
as far as quick pull being laggy it takes a second to get going what it does is basically fakes a install of a OS part app which makes the phone thinks it needs a reboot.
so what you were experiencing was probably normal. You may have also had it in compatibility mode which is how it installs to begin with. Taken out of compat mode makes the screen act correctly with it.
So should I take Soft Reset out of compatibility mode as well?
i would just uninstall softreset and install quickpull..
quickpull works identical once out of cmpat and it looks nicer to boot ;)
