My first thought was 'sure I'd still love it', but hold on...
If RIM had come out with the iPhone as is, I would have completely dismissed it, since office document editing is something that I want (once bitten forever smitten - thanks S60 Quickoffice!). And since the key appeal of the iPhone for me at its launch was its potential in Apple's hands, and BlackBerry had no appeal at all (office suites for $100? ha ha ha), I have to admit that the RIM iPhone would get no love, and perhaps even some ridicule.
The Apple Storm on the other hand would be lusted after - at least until finding out that I had to register with the latest edition of iTunes before I can even make a damned call.
Definitely needed the 'be honest' prompt for this one.
I'd go with a RIM iPhone maybe... It depends on if push email remained the same (as in what Blackberries are known for). I don't see RIM getting anywhere near as controlling of the phone as Apple does.
Which leads to my next answer: no to an Apple Storm. The iPod + Phone is good for what it does. But Apple's business methodology has kept Apple products away from me since the 90s. No device insurance? No removal battery (so you could purchase a non-branded battery from someone else)? Forced iTunes? No MMS (this is strictly an Apple decision)?
No. I'd buy a Zune before I bought an iPod because of Apple. I'd buy a WinMo phone before any phone branded by Apple.
Just pretend the iPhone has the BlackBerry Logo on it-
And the Storm has the Apple Logo on it-
Thats all, Yay or Nay?
No Carrier Bruhaha-
LOL
but carrier is very important. If verizon had the iphone, I would have gotten that a while ago. Now if verizon had both phones... now THAT is a question. Either way, I am happy with my Storm.

Okay then-
Apple Storm vs RIM iPhone on the bestworkingcellcarrier in your area!
im probley gonna get flamed here but if verizon sold the iphone i would have got it! mabie not the first one but the latest one is pretty ligit. i know it dosnt have a flash or mms capabilities but its still a great device. but since verizon doesnt offer the iphone, i see the storm as the next best thing! again i love the storm to death, and im sure once the app store gets launched things will be a lot different. But i still think if we could have the iphone with verizons service, i would have gotten the iphone over the storm! my 2 cents!
Honestly, I am a blackberry fan for life. I love the capabilities. My bf has the iphone and the amount of applications/games/etc you can get for free is amazing. I just wish RIM would do that for the storm. I mean I had to pay for the StormLock, which works great btw. The iphone is a pretty cool phone, but I love my storm and the VZW network (recently switch from t-mobile). My only hope is that it will get better with time. I have faith!
Your saying the iPhone is More Buggier and Complicated than the Storm? Thats a First.
I'd agree. My friend has an iPhone. She's on her third one and it's not looking promising either. freezes more than mine did on .90. It probably just makes me feel better since I had considered getting an iPhone and going to AT&T. Glad I didn't.

oh...RIM iPhone for me.
Thats odd.
No one is saying the iPhone was perfect at launch-
It got better with time, as I am sure the Storm will too.
But the iPhone is most certainly simpler to use than the Storm-
Apple is far too proprietary for my likes. Same reason I won't buy Sony
Amen, brother! Apple is worse than Micro$oft!!!!!
I hate everything Apple. If RIM made the iSheep, I'd probably love it because it wouldn't have all the things I hate about Apple. If Apple made the Storm I would probably hate it because it would have all the things I hate about Apple...
I don't mind Sony so much, probably because the work-arounds to their software is pretty easy (i.e. PSP, PS3 hacks).
