ive been seeing fellow crackberry posters talk about disabling "compatibility mode" when it comes to certain 3rd party apps to properly function. what is this mode and what is it for? ive tried searching "compatibility mode" to no avail. any insight would be much appreciated so i know when and why i would need it disabled. thanks everyone. happy new year.

You need to disable it on certain third party apps because otherwise the app will act as if a trackball is present and will not function correctly.
