    Means it didn't send. I used to have that issue when my phone wouldn't be fully activated on our BES. Not saying you're using a BES, but it means it didn't send.

    Try from the home screen: setup>email setting, bb buton>service books, send service books. You sould be able to resend the red "x" email then

    Is this an OWL account? I have the same issue after OS upgrades. it can be an e-mail I sent or an e-mail I got. For me this only happens on my OWL accounts. I just ignore it.

    im not familar with the acronym "OWL" but one was from an automated confirmation thing and another was sent through the ebay email system.

    Yeah, look at my thread. Also, don't think for one second that it's a 109 bug. It's not, it happens with all old email, but only after an OS install. There's an issue somewhere and I aim to bring attention and a fix to it someway. It bothers the bajesus out of me every time I see an X on an old email I keep around for information purposes.
