When Verizon pushes out the official Os upgrade out OTA, will our phones automatically 'upgrade' from the various beta OSs we are currently using?

Or do we have to downgrade to the last official release?

Assuming that the Official OTA release is a higher version than what you are running on the phone, it should do the upgrade when you ask it too.

You should get a text message from Verizon. If not, you will see this site explode from an overload of happiness and content if the number is higher then .109 and extreme anger and frustration if below that.

Either way, keep watching Crackberry and you'll probably know before Verizon does.

It basically is installing the new OS over the existing OS and does not need a back up, but you should be making backups on a regular basis. Make a back up of your phone and third party apps before doing the OTA.
