Of a complete OS overhaul? I doubt its likely, but wouldnt we all love for RIM to just crank out a Storm specific OS? All fluid and responsive like the Jesus phone is. Im guessing it would be too cost effective though right?
It's almost necessary, if the Storm is ever to make use of the OpenGL ES graphics capabilites that are part of it's chipset. Right now, it's just a slight redesign of the old software-accelerated GUI for the non-touch models. If RIM really plans to stay in the media-friendly touch screen phone business, the OS rewrite is almost a necessity.
