Weird Behavior on 3rd Party Apps

Sorry if this has been asked before. I did look through threads to see if I found anything but no luck.

I just picked up a Storm and have spent the better part of the day getting it all setup to work with at&t. So far, so good.

However, on most 3rd party apps, I'm finding that they load up with a thin blue edge around the program. I've seen it with YouMail, TwitterBerry, and SocialScope.

Is this normal because the apps aren't designed for the Storm or did I miss something somewhere? I'm assuming that the apps just aren't designed for the screen of the Storm.

I saw posts where people said they were using these apps on the Storm so that's what made me wonder. Thanks!
