The question I have would be do you have to be eligible for an upgrade? I'm not eligible until 7/2010

Just a question. Why would the Storm 2 be cheaper than the Storm 1 without a contract? (I know you didn't write them, just had to ask)

Is this saying that these are available at Wal-mart?

    Just curious

You don't EVER have to be eligible for an update for the w/o contract price.

You can Always just BUY the phone outright and change devices... I know you knew that already though... Just saying.

Yeah, I know that.... but I always see the "with contract" price and think, sure, I'll sign on for another 2 years. But, I have to be eligible to even do that... unless I'm not understanding something.

I've got a bug up my rear now that I want the damn S2. I just don't wanna pay more than $100 to do it. (even knowing I'd sell my S1 for probably $100) Now, if I could buy it for $149 from Walmart, get a $100 gift card, AND sell my S1? Now we're talking.

Which BB do u currently have? And have u called the number on the early upgrade flyer? If not the number is 87749448639 . I have storm 1 and I am not eligible for any upgrade until April 2010 but they will let me upgrade early but u have to call that number or go to store

I have the S1 now. I called VZW yesterday.... and the best they'll do is the 179.99, which is too much, at least for me it is. It's been the offer I've seen almost everywhere from day 1. (at least where I am, in So. California)

I'd do it for $100, knowing I'd sell my S1. Don't want to be out of pocket much for the S2. I've played with it, and don't think it's much difference at all, not since the update on the S1. I do like the extra memory. Wifi, no biggie to me. Latest and greatest, admittedly, I'm a sucker. Just not gonna pay for it this time.
