Do I have to select a data plan for the blackberry storm? This will be my first blackberry/smartphone and I usually just text and the traditional phone calls. I dont plan on spending $40 for a "data" plan that I'll never use. The only plans I have on my current phone is unlimited texting and NATIONWIDE SELECT FAMILY SHARE PRI 1400 ANY UNL N&W+IN+MSG .

ALL Blackberry phones REQUIRE a data plan. There's no getting around it. If you don't want the extra $30 charge, then don't get a Blackberry.
