Yea, well, where's our new leak, either they're prepping something really good, or it's going to be the same crap over and over, every new release develops a new bug. Mine hasn't really played nice since 109, which was fast and worked great. Except for the camera issues.
They don't fix this thing we the bugs it has , I'm jumping ship to the tour the second it's released. The touchscreen is becoming more of a novelty..
And the color issue is really to be quite honest, pathetic. They build a device and cripple it. It was rushed to development and failed miserably. I mean don't get me wrong, I like the storm for what it is, however, it's just no where near a production device.
I am going to answer this with a 100% certainty that it will not be back.
Sorry Marcus, there is just no way that they bring it back.
They haven't in ANY of the builds since .90 and I don't see that changing.
Maybe in 5.0, but I just don't see it coming back in 4.7, but then again, it might be the pessimism in me...
I, like you, Mark am getting to be one pessimistic motherf*cker! God, the color sucks on subsequent builds.
We can only hope for the color, speed, AND stability in a 5.0 build
If it has been 'punted' out to Verizon, do you think it will also have been simultaneously sent out to other service providers of both the 9500 & 9530?
Good stuff. With .141 getting so close to release, its interesting to see what happens with this one. Got my eye on you patches. lol. Thanks for the tip man.
bottom line is, when i know, you guys know. at this moment i don't know squat, the change log isn't in my posession, and the build isn't loaded on a device i have access to, but the file is in the testing realm. that's all i have so far. as new information is gained, i will update the story at the link provided in the OP, and we can discuss in the forums there as well as over here...i just didn't wanna leave you guys in the dark as to what's going on internally...
and like i said, the fact that two .14x builds got through, seems decent to me. shows me that they're getting their stuff together over at RIM...
