this discussion is based on the fact that VZW just released .148 for friendly user testing internally, meaning it has passed lab/network testing. so far no news on any 5.0 developments with VZW testing, but keep posted.

well i've gotten strict orders to not leak it. i might get to update for myself like before, but i promised to not even dump files. i'll try to swindle change logs this time if i can, and screen shots will come when i get them.

If it's at what patches calls friendly testing, then we are just looking at a few weeks, of course it COULD fail like 113 and 141 before did. Hopefully it will leak soon either way.

IMO the fact that we got TWO builds from .14x speaks VOLUMES on how well RIM is developing internally...they're addressing bugs, and removing flaws....but keep in mind that the fact that it got to "IRL" testing doesn't mean its worth passing, the testing prior to this stage is focused on very particular things...

I don't think I would even hold onto an official release if there was a leak of a higher Os. I think there are a lot of us that would constantly upgrade to leaks.
