I found out, thanks to this forum, that I had signed up for the wrong data plan. So I called and changed to the 30.00 plan and now I would like to know if someone can tell me how it will show up on the bill? Same way as before? Or does it break it down into emails, web surfing, etc? Or will it just say unlimited blackberry? For those who like to track my usage and what sites I go to and who I email, I'd like to know what they will be seeing when they begin snooping through my account again.
Btw this is MY phone and I pay the bill but it's in someone else's name so that I could get a company discount.
so i was talking to a verizon rep over the phone last night about activating my new replacement. she asked me "i see you currently have the $44.99 unlimited data plan, did you know we also have a $29.99 unlimited data plan?" ive been checking online before when i first got my phone..and didnt see an option to switch to a lower plan so i assumed it was the only plan for the new storm. either way, when i got my 1st phone from the verizon store, the stupid rep lady didnt tell me anything and just added the $44.99 plan. dam b*tch. anyways..i switched to the $29.99 plan. now i could save some $$$

That's just wrong... no one needs the 44.99 unless you are working on a BES server. I would consider b*tching to verizon IMO.

The $44.99 Plan includes Unlimited Text Messaging. That is $.20 per Text Message with the 29.99 Plan. So if you're a big TM fan you'll want the 44.99 Plan.

Not in all cases. I have a separate text message plan and I definitely do not pay 44.99 total.

Please do not believe everything you read here. The $44.99 plan does not include unlimited text messaging. This only covers email & web and is mostly used by people who have devices that are also connected to a BES. A regular consumer only needs the $29.99 email & web plan. Text messaging is a totally separate charge unless you are on a price plan that includes unlimited texting.

Yeah, You're right on that! Sorry. In my case is I went from a non-BB Plan to a BB e-mail and Data addition to my basic Plan. I see now there are multiple Plans and combinations that have TM, No TM, e-mail. data, etc.etc. etc.!
