If I downloaded the .148 leak, I should I reinstall whatever Verizon releases? Even if it is .148?

    Thanks.

Sooo can someone post the 99 supposed fixes. I'm sure the cut/paste, faster camera (and see through camera controls) are a couple of the "groundbreaking" enhancements....although we've had them for a while with the leaks.

I may just do a complete wipe of my phone and upgrade OTA from Verizon...all this mix-matching and hybrids and multiple backups may have screwed something up somewhere...

And I'll just re-download my Apps and maybe save my custom dictionary.

Anyone know why I keep getting 4.7 Core Application updates when I connect to DM. I've been running .148 since the leak and it has happened at least twice where I plug in and it tells me that there are 4.7 Core App updates???

that's nice...well...I really can care less, getting an iPhone going at&t, totally disappointed with the Storm, so much hype for something so inferior than any other blackberry in my opinion. My Storm was almost introduced to the wall on several occasions. This update that is going to be released for the iPhone is going to add NOS to it. I don't even want to see the new Storm. I as a business person that relies on my phone so heavily need a reliable phone and the Storm has let me down.
    That is all.

Agreed. I dont get all the whiners who say, "i rely so highly on my phone for etc" and then dont do anything about it for months. If your work and productivity is so important, why havent you switched over immediately? I guess it's just easier to complain

It clearly says 4.7.0.203. If it was a platform it would be 4.0.0.203.
    .148 in a nutshell:

    Blackberry 9530 Device Software v4.7.0.148
    Platform v4.0.0.181

Roger that. I get 2-3 days on my battery even TRYING to drain it (heavy net surfing and GPS use) and I don't do battery pulls anymore unless I'm uninstalling something. .148 is a GREAT OS on my phone.
I just got my Storm a couple of weeks ago, and I really do enjoy it! Still, I will be happy to have the official update and I'm willing to wait for it

    Cheers,

Don't get me wrong, I love .148. I just thought VZW may have pulled something from their *** that would be even better. I feel so unsatisfied.
Without writing an entire new OS, i'm not so sure how it could get much better? With .148; there is literally NOTHING that is detrimental to my day to day usage, as I can now listen to mp3s without audio problems; which had been my biggest complaint with previous OSes.

If 4.7.0.75 is akin to Windows Vista RTM; 4.7.0.148 is akin to Vista SP1..... Sure, maybe there's a better 4.7.0.x out there, that would be akin to SP2.

And 5.0.0.x would be various Windows 7 builds (hopefully ) - if you don't get the connection, Windows 7 uses hardware more efficiently than Vista, hopefully 5.0.0.x will do the same for the Storm. Better memory management is never a bad thing.
