I have a "tape" voicemail icon that will not go away. I've left myself messages and deleted them by calling the voicemail and waiting until it says no new messages.

I think the problem stems from the fact that I set up visual voicemail while I had some messages. I deleted those messages and the VV icon went away, but I am still showing the tape icon.

I've called and deleted, I've pulled the battery...etc..etc..etc....


Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem. Issue for issue. Vv setup. Same diagnostic and trouble shooting but still have same tape icon.
