Just got my Storm and I rather like it... however.... is there a known issue with voice quality? Mine sounds "muffled" both to me and to the people I talk to.

It has the .75 software, FWIW

I got the same problem. I'm also running .75 some times I also get an echo of my own voice.

Id think that is a hardware issue rather than a software.

I had this issue until I upgraded the OS to .83. I'm running .85 now. If you sound much clearer while using the speakerphone, then its probably software.

I took mine back after 2 weeks for this reason alone. The earpiece sounded awful - cracked like a blown speaker and I did the "boost treble" tricks and the outgoing still sounded muffled. I called my work voicemail with the Storm, an iPhone, a Sprint Touch Pro and my existing Moto Q9c. The Storm was the looser, hands down. I was better with a BT headset, but I don't wear one all the time. Too bad, I liked the thing otherwise.
