i just downloaded vibeandring and was kinda pissed when it didnt work for text and e-mail messages. maybe this has been discussed before but is there something i didnt do? is there a vibandring type app for messages?

I believe that app only works with incoming calls. I use the BuzzMe app which is free and it vibrates on messages. Just make sure you turn off vibrate in phone options.
Maybe fabian could look into this for the next version of vibandring
