hi i was wondering if anyone knows if a unlocked Verizon storm with a clean esn and the stock Verizon sim card will work on bell. do i have to unlock it or will it work locked? i talked to a rep at a bell store and she said she remembered one person with a Verizon storm that worked fine on bell.
Is bell GSM or CDMA? Nevermind I just read your tag info. 8330 on bell would make them CDMA. As long as they are willing to program the IMIE number to their system it is possible.
so i take to technical support and they said that as long as a dealer will activate the phone it doesn't matter what network its from but then i need the lock code and they will give me the program instructions. so according to them as long as i buy the Verizon phone with a clean esn and have a store willing to activate it for me. they will give me the programing instructions. to do it my self. does this make sense to someone? to me it seems like fine idea?. just to find a store that will activate it.
