Leaked OS's are official somewhere just not Verizon. While I would like to think Verizon has a higher standard at times I feel they have no standards.

With that said I am rockin Lycidrials 4.7.0.141/5.0.0.93 Build 5-12-09, and my Storm is running very well.

I dont wanna mess anything up by attempting to fix what's not broken.

We'll appreciate the official so much more than the others when it finally gets here!
Hey Shayda - I am still running with the .75 OS. I agree and when an official OS update is released it will be a glorious day.

The people that use .75 by choice... you know what? No, I'm not going to fuel the fires of this thread. People can do what they want... it just gets tiring having to hear the same old defenses of justification.

    EDITED.

running .75 and still kicking, just have to get use to the phone.
the only thing that was kicking when i had .75 was me..kicking the phone into the wall...my theory is if rim..you know...the people who created the phone would create something as a testable upgrade to their product why wouldn't it ok to use...sure...EVERY single piece of software/os will have bugs...its just how noticeable are they...I tried to get used to .75 and just thought the lag was unrelated to the phone and it was a user error...WRONG...I started and loaded .99 on my phone and it was a WORLD of difference...then went to the .144/5 hybrid and haven't been happier....when vzw comes out with an official release I probably will stick with my leaked hybrid until something happens, it stops working, blah blah....

I choose to run .75 bc my phone the issues don’t really bother me. No OS is without its flaws, everybody just wants the latest and "supposedly" greatest.

There are going to be problems with all OS's but its all a matter of perception. Just like some people prefer to use .132 others .141, some prefer the original .75.

The people that use .75 by choice and say that it works perfectly are the same people that are still happy with cassette tapes and rabbit ear antennas. Afraid of changing or breaking something that works... but doesn't work as good as what's out there.
And a better analogy would be:

The people that use .75 by choice and say that it works perfectly are the same people that are still happy with DVD players (versus everyone that ran out and grabbed BluRay players).

In the end we still have the same HDTV jsut some are running there’s with a different OS.

I will have to say after running all these beta os's (or whatever one want's to call them) the only radio so far that I can remember worked good was .90 but it would start to reboot the phone after 3+days on the phone.
All the newer ones (as far as I can remember all give me problems!) either reboot, network (internet), DROPPED CALLS!! (this one is the killer for me), besides the other problems this thing has !!
I am going to go back to .65 and .75 and see how it goes with these 3 problems that are killing me! So hopefully this POS phone starts to work properly with one of these or something!
So far for me every time I load an OS it work's good for 3-4 days then kaput!!!

Me and my Gurl are on 132 and love our BB almost as much as we love each other Lol. She has not have to bring her phone to me once for any minor/major problem since she got them for us a month's and a half ago.

the thing is though... I'd recommend you try .132. I felt like I had a new phone after that. I thought my phone was okay before then... and dang, .132 made it feel like a new beast. The GF was mad at me because I was on my phone ALL DAY the day I upgraded it, because it felt so great to have what felt like a fully functioning phone.

Lyricidal .141/5.0 hybrid, but unless something new leaks over the weekend I'm probably going to drop back to the Bell .122. I want the .122 media player and stability!

OOAC V3 platform .136 (as stated above in profile.

Very snappy, 1XEV all day, and battery is solid (use it for business) along with app memory management (boots 50, and i teeter between 45-40 all day with 10+ apps installed). This is on a once daily reboot (I treat it like a computer)!
