So I'm sitting here chillin' with the lowercase 1xev. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting with no luck, tried rebooting with no luck, so I figure it must be a network issue like Friday's. Anyone else experiencing this? What's going on with VZW? They can't be having these outages, that's part of the reason I went with VZW!
When my wife had that problem we called up vz and they talked there thru step by step to wipe her phone then re install everything and it fixed the problem

RIM was updating their systems last at around midnight your time (NJ, as it were). My friend was having the same issues here in CA, so I told him to turn off all connections. pull the battery. then turn on all connections. it's been working fine ever since.

Trying this...it was working earlier today so don't know what's going on. If I keep having these problems I guess I'll try wiping it and installing a new OS (rather not have to do this if I can help it, pretty happy with .109!).

Same problem here. Data is not working as of 3:59pm for me in CT.
I guess this changes my prior post, it seems to be a problem elsewhere, but somewhat spotty...I'm running BIS, not BES...maybe that's why some people are experiencing it and others not?

BIS service probably came back up while she was busy wiping her phone. It happened the other day for me and then came back after an hour or so. BIS is down for me right now again, in NYC.

Got 1X now, so data's coming through, I guess just not 3G speed yet...
And I'd call VZW and ask them but I've been on the phone with them too much this week about their horrific Fios service, and kinda tired of their incompetence
VZW just told me its a complete data outage in the Northeast. No estimated time to get it fixed.
Funny thing is, my wifes curve (I have the storm) is showing full data connectivity. rep told me thats becuase she hasnt updated her roaming capabilities and she's running off of someone elses data service. Learn something new everyday I suppose.
