Is there any problem using my computer USB to charge the storm, rather than using the wall charger that came in the box? The USB cord does seem to take a bit longer too.

I notice that charging by the USB takes a very long time. Yesterday, it was plugged into my computer for over 3 hours and had not topped out (close, but not completely). The wall charger is much faster, but I like the convenience of the USB method.
Also, is one method better or worse for the battery life?

It is not a problem using the USB to charge, however the power not voltage provided by through the USB connection is lower than the wall charger and therefore it will take at least twice as long to charge your Storm. Mileage will vary depending on computer type and settings.
