you should not be using .106 on the 9530... install .103 on it.. .and did you backup the info prior to upgrading the software?

Like another member, .103 wouldn't show on DM up so I deleted the vendor.xml file and boom it worked.

Now my phone is much faster but my connection is showing as 1X not 1XEV!!!!

Prior to upgrading DM should preform a backup of your device. If you are missing your contacts, you should be able to restore your backup once your upgrade is complete. That should restore your contacts.

I'm sorry I dont understand ? before i upgraded it did back up what i had . after upgrade was completed I still have my movies, and and background pic. but no contacts..

Open up DM and select Backup and Restore. Then select Restore and point it to wherever you saved the backup file and poof! All your contacts will be back.

actually not to thread hijack or anything but .106 works very well on the 9530 and the only software change is the radio code they are practically the same device save for the radio's, i have been running 106 on my device 3 days now and am very happy with it. much better than .103
