I have a verizon 8330 and my Storm should be delivered today. Can I update the os to .75 before I activate the phone? Or do I have to activate the storm then do the upgrade?

You can upgrade without activating. Though if you activate you will then be able to upgrade over the air, instead of having to upgrade from the desktop manager. You will not be able to upgrade over the air without activating.

just a little heads up, a few people were having problems with OTA. if you have a prob, don't fight it, just do it via desktop manager
