Is it possible to upgrade to Upgrade to .90 w/out the New Full KEYBOARD.. i saw it on my friends and he hated it .. So would this be possible?? Thanks

You dont have to enable that keypad... its an option not a requirement. I am running .90 and use suretype in portrait and full qwerty in landscape

where would you go to do exactly what you are doing thanks.. he has suretype enabled in the screen/keyboard option **** full keyboard still comes up.. thanks

if it does, hit menu > enable suretype in portrait and it will switch. I have never enabled the reduced keypad, just kept it suretype.

Just set it to SureType under Options. Go to Options> Screen/Keyboard> then set Portrait View Keyboard to SureType or Multitap. I've done this after using the Full Keyboard for a day and not liking it much. I haven't seen the full keyboard showing up in portrait since the change.
