HELP! I am trying to upgrade to the new version on my Blackberry Storm 9530 and i keep getting an error message? What do i do? I'm not using DM i'm doing the through the phone. I'm not an expert on my phone either!!!

You may need to free up some memory in order to do the update. The easiest way to do that is to do a battery pull. Open the back, pull out the battery wait 30 seconds then reinsert. This will cause the phone to reboot and should free up enough memory for you to update.

also, you need to clear your browser cache this is located
bowser->bb button->options->cache operation

this shall allow to back up and install the OS

You may need to use the Desktop Manager. After repeated attempts of freeing memory and rebooting the phone, the only solution I found was the Desktop Manager updating my phone.
