Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this problem also.
I upgraded last night to 109 for my storm, and today at work my battery life kept going down. By the end of my shift (7-3) my phone was almost dead, and it was 100% when i left the house in the morning. What could be wrong here, do I need to downgrade back to 103, and if so how do I downgrade? Also to go along with my problem the back of my phone is really warm and i can feel this through my otter box case.

have you tried a battery pull? Seems from what I have read in the forum posts that helped a couple of others with that issue... I installed 109 yesterday, and have not noticed any improvement or degradation of battery life on my device... only went down 12% throughout my day at work from 8:30am-6:30PM and that included using the media player in my car driving to and from work and lunch...

you may also want to check and see that you don't have a bunch of apps running in the background...

What I noticed with this upgrade is the auto restore function seemed to not work right. I noticed alot of other people were missing things like contacts, etc. I'm thikning some settings may not be being restored correctly. (ie anything you set to help save the battery)

I would try doing a restore from a backup before you put .109 on your phone and see if that helps.

ps my phone was freaking out even though it LOOKED ok in settings... soon as i did a restore and a reboot it was fine.

I have checked on the apps running in the background, just the normal ones are running. Also have tried several battery pulls, and still the same affect. I charged it back up to full power took off charger at 7:45 pm and now at 10:00pm battery is at 70%. I think if I remove 109 and put 103 back on it will be fine again, but I don't know how what steps to take.

it was really bad on my phone also i went back to 103. i asked around and some people said after the full battery drain they recharged and it worked fine. this was not the case for me, i charged and within four hours of no use i was at 17%. i might try reinstalling 109 and give it another chance.

I had the exact opposite problem. My phone was drained in a single day at school on .103 but after i updated to .109 ive gone nearly 3 days without charging it. That's strange lol

My problem was Weatherbug. When you update the firmware, weatherbug never remembers your default position...Once you delete weatherbug or set your location, the battery goes back to normal

I upgraded to .109 last night as well and with moderate use today I have almost a full battery. Just half a bar down.
This is the best it's ever been. I'm only running a few apps so that may help.

I had the exact same problem. Found on here that some people said weather bug lost its setting and was using GPS to follow me. So I opened up weather bug, added my location and no i've been running for over 8 hours with only about 15% drain. Where yestarday i had 95% drain in 10 hours.
