    i bought a storm 11/21/08 unlocked it and put it on tmobile. now the screen is showing white dots........i thought it was a software issue so i wiped and loaded an older OS on it and it wasnt the problem. so i need a new storm and was wondering if anyone has got a replacement storm without having a contract with vzw ? or am i **** out of luck ?

    it should be under a 1 year mfg warranty, but not sure if you have to have a contract with vzw first ? try contacting RIM.
