    Thanks DMG!

TalkLock version 1.0.1 (is there a newer version?)

Are memory leaks to be expected from 3rd party apps?

Umm I'm not 100% sure what the newest version is, but the first version had a memory leak. They've since fixed that though.

haha! I know, mine too! All these posts about 57mb and stuff. I'm happy to run at half that! Thats the reason I'm trying to find the culprit app that is sinking my Storm!

lol yea, I know which apps do it... dmg got you a pretty good idea above. I just deal though... I like having the stuff there. I just have QuickPull handy and it does fine. I also set Quickpull to do a reset every mroning around 4am, so when I get up I have a freshly booted phone to work with.

Well, I had to reinstall it again today due to my computer rebooting while installing .109. Hopefully I have the newer version now. Thanks again DMG and for all your hard work on the apps too!!

Yup, I do the same with quickpull. I guess its one of those things that just "bugs" me because I have no control! lol

Same here. Really wish weather.com wasn't going to charge monthly. I wouldn't mind a one time small fee or a limited free app but they want to profit off my weather bug memory leak misery

Also slacker doesn't seem like it leaks...at least not badly. I've been using it constantly since getting it....

fyi many people had memory issues after the 1.01 version of talk lock.

try storm lock or the other new one maybe.

btw, what are you running at?

    20-30mb average is the norm.

After doing a quickPull I'm at 40mb but it is dropping as we speak. .109 OS seemed to help a bit but still leaking pretty bad.

Maybe I will give Stormlock a try. I was trying to be cheap and use a fee one. Guess that's what I get for being cheap! Lol

hah I had the same thing happen the other day. I tried to download DMG"s tip calculator... and my phone said there was insufficient space! it's a 9.6kb program! lol. Sure enough, my memory screen looked like yours. It was a definite Dubya Tee Eff moment

Yea, but it leaks anyway with the default only on the device. I know which programs do it, I just don't wanna give em up and just do QuickPulls when I need it :P

They're pretty much ALL have memory leaks since they all are constantly gathering data from the network and storing it in a cache.

I use weathereye and it works great. I don't know about memory leaks with this program but you could try switching.

It gives me all the weather info I need to know.
