    Previously posted in wrong spot. Re-posting here.

    I am Using DM 4.7.0.25 and Storm 9530. The same error has been happening that I cannot seem to fix. The computer has been rebooted and Battery pulled.

    During synchronization process, while processing the device address book at record 1 I keep getting the same small box titled "Intellisync" that pops up and reads "Unable to read application data". I am not able to complete a sync.

    Any Suggestions?

    Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling DM?

    Actually, I did not try that. I guess ill give it a try. Thanks!

    How does the uninstall effect the data from previous syncs and all other info and apps?

    Everything should be restored when you uninstall - if you haven't been able to sync you shouldn't lose anything. You might have to put your custom music or videos back on but other than that you should be good to go.

    If you do a search of the forums on "DM sync error messages" there are a number of posts that show up. One of them contains this information:

    Go to Desktop Mananger/Backup and Restore/Advanced/Device Databases/Calendar AND Calendar All/Clear

    Once you've done this resync your bb

    You may want to try the same process for the Address Book. This also sometimes happens when you try to back up the data.
