Ill try and put it as simplly as possible. Someone who disagrees with popular opinion on a forum is not a troll.
If someone starts a thread on the rants and raves forum stating the Storm is crappy phone (which it is) then he should be allowed to express that opinion. Not everyone is going to love the storm especially for those with two eyes can distinguish between good and bad regardless of the brand.
So to all the people crying troll to anyone who has something negative to say about the Storm - get over it.
While that's true, if you stick around long enough you'll see that Cereal Killer and RCCollins are indeed trolls. They just so happen to be "anti-Storm" but that has nothing to do with them being branded trolls.
They're branded trolls because they just want attention, and will say/do anything to get it. You can certainly make a case for their comments being debate provoking, but just because someone's a troll doesn't mean that they are devoid of useful function. It just means that mommy didn't love them, or they feel a bit lacking in their "manhood", and so they convince themselves that making a complete arse of themselves on Internet forums, IRC chat rooms, and anywhere else people congregate, will compensate for these things.
Correction, a troll is a attention ***** who offers nothing to a discussion or refuses to have a intelligent discussion without it turning into a flame war. Trolls tend to cling to the smallest things possible for an argument
No one cares that you hate your phone. You can come in and lay it out on the table why you like or hate the phone but if you don't listen or keep a level head your going to get ripped a new one.

Well, it's been obvious on the 9500/9530 boards here that trolls a plenty are around us...some of the claims of issues with the Storm are legit. Others are just borderline inane, asinine and not true or extreme exaggerations of legit claims. It's too easy to make a "profile" here that does not get validated in any way and then go on a rampage stirring up the masses by posting inflammatory statements where the phone is concerned. And mainly those people would be iPhone fanboys living in their moms basement with way too much time on their hands...because you don't see anything like this on any of the other BB model boards on here, just the ones related to the Storm.
lol, i hear ya, when im at work i am mostly typing caps so every once in a while ill get half way thru a long post and realize i didn't take the lock off and submit anyway.
