Hi, I have done a search and can't seem to find exactly the answer I'm looking for regarding ringtone transfers.

I have no problem transfering ringtones from my pc to BB, but it is only allowing me to transfer them to my music file. What I want to be able to do is transfer them directly to my ringtone folder, as there is a folder already allocated for "my ringtones" is there a way to do this or am I stuck having to put them in "my music" folder where I keep all my music and then assigning them later as a specified ringtone for a certain contact etc..?

By the way I am using BT to do the transfer but this should not really be an issue, as I get the same results using a USB cable. Any suggestions..?

I copy the ring tones to an email and then send them to myself. When I open the attachments, they go straight to my ring tone folder.
