I've read a lot of posts about folks getting a replacement phone, but has anyone ever found the best way to transfer their stuff to the new phone? My specific question is whether I should upgrade to .99 first then restore apps? Couldn't take the dust any more. So I just follow thru with the device switch wizard like copying the .asx file?

Device Switch Wizard will take care of everything for you. If you install the OS on your PC your device will be updated and all info from one device will be transferred to the new device.
