Those who bought retail and have T-mo or ATT

I know there HAS to be someone out there who bought the phone retail and popped a SIM card in there.

How does it work? Did you try the work arounds with the service books yet??? ...

Just wondering. Can't wait until mine comes in the mail....

I think BGR put an ATT card into a Vodafone Storm and was able to get service. Just can't remember if the data connection worked.

Voda has the 9500.

Verizon has the 9530 CDMA/GSM phone.

I was wondering if anyone has inserted a sim card in the 9530, because that is the one i will be getting from the NYC Storm Grab.

I think you aren't getting responses for one of two reasons

1)dont understand which NON-US provider sim card u want inserted in the VZW strom 9530.

2)you want to know if the 9530 can be used on USA GSM...(covered :beatdeadhorse:) GSM specs for all xx30 World phone BB are not the GSM freqs for US GSM. No verizon 8830 or 9530 on T-mo USA or ATT USA. I didn't copy the spectra for you becuase its all other this forum.


Just sayin I'm hoping you are asking the first if so be a little more specific and prolly somebody will give it a go for and let you know.

BTW u planning on traveling overseas somewhere in particular with a 9530?
